In a piece of shocking news, Bollywood actor Asif Basra, who is known for films like Kai Po Che and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, was found dead in a private guest house in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The police and forensic team have reached the spot. The actor was found hanging at the private complex and a case of suicide is suspected.
SSP Kangra district Police, Vimukt Ranjan, confirmed the news on Thursday. He stated that the investigation on the matter is underway. Talking to the news agency ANI, Ranjan said, “Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter.”
The 53-year-old actor also starred in movies like Jab We Met, Krrish 3, and Ek Villain. He was recently seen in the web series Paatal Lok and Hostages Season 2.
